Hi there, my name is Misja Janzen, born and raised in the Netherlands. As a son of a carpenter, my interest in woodworking started at a very early age. Seeing how my father magically turned rough lumber into finalized objects. The feeling of being able to turn your idea in reality with your own hands, feels very satisfying.

 

At school, I decided to become an mechanical engineer. Solving various types of mechanical problems gives a lot of energy. The only big down side for me was that you only work with your brain. I really missed the magical scene from my father when I was young. So if you miss something... it is time for action. Yanzawood was born.
